Before You Begin

What You'll Need:

  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone
  • Your enrollment confirmation email
  • About 10 minutes to complete setup

Step 1: Accessing Your Course

Option A: Use the Enrollment Email

  1. Check your email for your Concord Academy enrollment confirmation
  2. Click on the "Express Sign In Link" in the email
  3. Create your password when prompted
  4. Log in to begin your learning journey

Option B: Direct Access

  1. Visit academy.tconglobal.com
  2. Click "Login" in the top right corner
  3. Enter your email address (the one you used during registration)
  4. Click "Forgot Password?" if this is your first time
  5. Check your email for the password reset link
  6. Create your new password and log in

Step 2: Exploring Your Dashboard

Once logged in, you'll see your Student Dashboard:

Understanding Your Dashboard

  • My Courses: View all enrolled courses and track progress
  • Announcements: Important updates from Concord Academy
  • Discussion: Ask Questions and Connect with instructors
  • Certificates: Download completed course certificates
  • Account Settings: Update your profile and preferences


Step 3: Navigating Your Course

Accessing Your Course Content

  • Click "My Courses" from your dashboard
  • Select your enrolled course to enter the course player
  • Use the course outline on the left sidebar to see all available lessons
  • Click any lesson title to jump directly to that content

Course Player Navigation

  • Progress through lessons sequentially using "Next Lesson" button
  • Jump to specific topics using the left-hand course outline
  • Mark lessons complete by clicking the "Mark Complete" button
  • Return to course overview anytime by clicking the course title

Downloading Course Materials

  • Look for download icons next to lesson titles or within lessons
  • Click "Resources" tab if available to access all downloadable files
  • Save PDFs, templates, and guides directly to your device
  • Access downloads anytime from the lesson where they were provided

Asking Questions and Getting Help

  • Use the "Discussions" tab to post questions to instructors and classmates
  • Reply to existing discussions to join ongoing conversations
  • Tag instructors by typing @ followed by their name
  • Search previous discussions before posting new questions

Progress Tracking

  • View your overall progress in the course header
  • Resume where you left off - LMS saves your place automatically


Step 4: Using Academy Learning Features

Video Lessons

  • Click the play button to start any video lesson
  • Pause anytime by clicking the video or pressing spacebar
  • Adjust playback speed using the settings gear icon (0.25x to 2x speed)
  • Enable closed captions by clicking the CC button (if available)
  • Use full-screen mode by clicking the expand icon
  • Rewind or fast-forward using the progress bar or arrow keys

Taking Quizzes and Assessments

  • Complete quizzes by selecting your answers and clicking "Submit"
  • Review your results immediately after submission
  • Retake quizzes if allowed by your instructor
  • See correct answers in the results review (if enabled)
  • Track quiz scores in your overall course progress

Participating in Discussions

  • Click the "Discussions" tab to view all course conversations
  • Start a new discussion by clicking "New Discussion" or "Ask a Question"
  • Reply to posts by clicking "Reply" under any comment
  • Format your text using the discussion editor tools
  • Get email notifications for replies (check your email settings)

Downloading Materials

  • Look for download links within lesson content
  • Right-click and "Save As" to download files to your device
  • Check lesson descriptions for additional downloadable resources
  • Access previously downloaded files from your device's download folder
  • Ensure good internet connection for large file downloads

Step 5: Tracking Your Progress

Progress Monitoring

  • Check your dashboard regularly to see completion status
  • Set learning goals for weekly progress
  • Use the calendar feature to schedule study time

Assessment Preparation

  • Review lesson summaries before taking quizzes
  • Retake assessments if needed (unlimited attempts)
  • Complete all required activities before final certification
  • Practice with real-world scenarios provided in the course

Step 7: Earning Your Certification

Certification Requirements

  • Complete all required modules (100% completion)
  • Pass all assessments with minimum required scores

Certificate Download

  1. Navigate to "Certificates" in your Account by clicking on "My Account"
  2. Click "Download Certificate" once eligible
  3. Save or print your official certification
  4. Add to your LinkedIn profile to showcase your expertise
